Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2024My daughter picked this book up and didn't put it down until she has read the entire book! My daughter hated to read prior to this book. She reads all the time now thanks to this book. Great narrative, authors writing is great for young children and the storyline very clever! My daughter was also heavily educated about teeth hygiene and how to take care of your teeth also what happens when you don't take care of your teeth. Great book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bueno para adolescentes

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool für den Englisch Unterricht
Meine 7.
